- n% v- H/ z3 {The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Job Responsibilities:

( F8 q7 u, G, BMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials0 w2 ]& \# L0 V& z1 e2 m
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials( B+ z0 N& @8 v6 e& D+ E
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material w6 u! x8 V1 L; ~, B" C
Must be able to work safely at all times
/ k5 F' z4 c! [Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
9 Z& P8 s: Y6 H. M8 d$ A' _Performs routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)( @# X, q) Q( P4 ^1 w+ p& s
Well-articulated and assertive( e8 N5 x7 y+ H/ h7 I
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
