DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT

, K2 P3 h/ H. g9 @" URESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
% ]3 E7 K. Q# a& }   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
  r& O/ S" k& p8 J9 K) O* F" w1 d   o Microsoft Operations Manager
1 x$ Q. p1 d! j. c) s7 U   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
% @& ^) U: w+ ?1 i! d1 W2 _! t   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
4 V! V8 o3 n$ w: z: Mplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
7 g5 i$ l2 V0 _9 e" j4 Q3 Q. NSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
6 H7 S0 f( i5 \% ?) Z   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

& d3 N! m9 Z2 X% o• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
+ _/ a3 Y0 H9 v$ c7 }2 c8 t! K* X• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
