买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:6 h' Y) i$ ~' K! u
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
! D, X" F2 o6 z6 ~  Y8 F•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
- y" |. Q8 y3 t# M! USo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

) O8 v& R  \' D6 s% I  S9 _A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.+ S. N7 U0 ]: A) {# L8 f8 |

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.
' b+ z8 E% e# \7 I3 ~
3 b7 ~+ t. g+ EThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.* z3 q8 e2 x' h. H+ L; b' k
