买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

3 _. D; T" e, ZYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:. }# G, ?  `! k9 [
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
9 M  \+ g1 X6 ~1 K( `: ?•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).: c/ k3 A- A, Y; m; f4 I8 y
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

7 B- ]4 w4 |7 X1 G) z) t  xA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.! z- W, O5 S% h5 Q

1 G) Q9 d8 y6 J& B9 r' ~* ]在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 8 U& _3 p$ y' x/ q  {

0 A6 h4 L/ v* ?The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
