买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

: l0 a4 z7 o7 C* {: M0 U# G9 cYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:- D5 j6 \; ?2 `
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and: N3 Y1 O/ h* z+ s2 ~( n' k2 K, X# m
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).$ T# x  a  j  w& E3 |- J( ?2 ^# a
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

9 m6 a" G1 {) oA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 1 ]- }* s/ I7 f
