information that will make your transition to the University community

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
$ M0 L' E1 n! g+ d* R iactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
, Z4 e& u9 s6 ^5 Y% i8 Ya variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ! R8 O3 Z0 k2 q$ b; e
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in & F; T$ e ^* z( X) q9 u

, _* k. T/ t; _& a0 L4 l4 yYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 9 ~5 h9 e% Y r/ ]! N1 U
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
, W0 i( j+ O) \, `and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you + Z# b# z7 _- ~3 i
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from # [+ }7 Q, |$ D, l
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
( ^: \ C- ~! E8 [ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
5 P9 B( M4 a7 m. }$ J8 j4 C6 {your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
+ l3 ~$ m! l" I7 E* U. k7 {of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 0 u+ j& [* q, @( _* G1 b
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ; r' X4 _9 @4 N4 |
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ( I3 T: i4 R; ?" d C
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 7 J) j6 L! a, h+ ]" Z
two days of Orientation).
