% ?7 @& Y$ Z' sattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of ]; [& y, t9 V. X) c2 l
information that will make your transition to the University community

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit - k5 z* \; m9 E: K
www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically $ U P% d+ L+ w4 b3 _
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

$ K7 L2 S) L8 }% |! y# z# f7 R( mBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening / u. H( v8 N5 a% Z* X8 \
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
$ ~8 E7 o: b- I" T; H* `a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
- a" O4 ]$ ]3 V1 W6 m$ Oevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
# K ? V& R) \6 Z; h" tHawrelak Park.

4 ]: ]3 d) v$ rYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
9 V* y* B6 a6 [September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
8 E( E- j9 t- Q, @ g7 q! oand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you " ?/ H8 L. ]; \. j6 |. u$ M
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
8 T B2 K' V# ?! v- m& gyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 3 g; r+ E l) f3 q2 R V+ s C- g
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
" \3 s2 r" ^, E; U6 {: Syour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ~+ v* e B {$ T" [1 k
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
2 p, ?6 t) J% S$ Z7 [Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic - u5 ~) W7 Y( A6 ~/ e! T
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 7 ]" J7 s4 U( @% a& O
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ; ?1 @! d% t: h* l6 s" p* I
two days of Orientation).
