* g8 Y6 f! ^" ^  KAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
' ~5 u( V$ z" R9 f: AProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
" l! [2 a. L+ Y! F# mPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

, R+ W. T/ f. T2 c9 @Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
7 E" M7 G1 P  A& @8 PDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
0 k, ~. S2 R6 F0 H2 w! H0 D- r3 ~Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
6 j! ?8 c- w2 b" ZKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
8 M( b' K. h, t. {Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
