内容提要: 讨论进入加拿大本专业工作的策略;介绍加拿大提供土木工程学位的大学和主要课程;介绍阿尔伯塔省的油砂地,工艺流程,油砂工业里主要的结构和基础类型;在项目整个过程中土木工程师的工作;最后讨论结构设计的技术问题,设计规范,设计成果,如何写计算书,节点设计,基础设计,动力基础设计,模块设计。

Introduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies. 5 g1 g% v' Y7 i. J
Introduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages.
