Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.$ @# n7 |7 t! d, M* e. We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.; x. s" A* e  _2 b; W
/ p  ^) d. C: S1 S! u6 x; s; Q
Position Summary
2 L# t3 v2 y! p. K& ~9 ]. U, S: x2 x/ }! L" S% n/ Z' v
•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
' y9 r# w* N* f•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings , S3 S+ ^/ ?/ x+ }" v- Y, R6 k! u
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach
/ P4 H6 _6 E: ^0 M. A5 j6 d•        Promoting TBL products and services
- Q1 `+ ^# e. B; H1 U5 E& y; u& n•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance
9 H1 F! @' ?& @1 E/ c7 a/ A7 [  b- \" Q•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables % s& l2 Z% `8 g" i0 m1 M
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta 3 j# u( O$ E8 _$ Q5 A$ Q
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry. o2 g4 E2 U1 x
•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program 7 E) z1 u  {1 r$ T/ _
•        Arranging catering for various meetings * z/ G2 E& `# K5 `
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office
  V  Y4 u( b; r. I- f$ I3 G( [•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

Education and Experience
4 k. T# N+ @8 t( w' b; m0 y3 O. Q+ p
•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience + v0 e( }. |  M
•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
7 A( C9 u0 e8 O7 T$ p•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.# z# m6 \  l# N' J2 k, c

4 \6 A: Z& G7 D8 i/ w. }( E1 eSkills
0 X1 L  I+ m' _  r( G+ O
1 }- D& K" C: D3 w4 L        Strong work ethic
5 O3 l5 s- ]! }3 C) k        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter* L! o' l( O5 }
        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook# q+ x4 t$ F8 U" X8 d! `* X' [
        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions
" G5 V- E9 H6 ^9 l5 H- g: E2 P        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization$ ^/ Z1 [5 j5 S- Y7 Z
        Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking abilities9 P1 U/ U7 W6 m6 m+ R* H. _
        Continuous learning is essential to perform job effectively % k$ X9 w, X! B) k2 t. \# ?1 k& [0 M

A combination of education and experience will be considered.
