Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

h! G- P8 l) wMajor Responsibilities: ' i. I* h# Q! {5 r
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' p1 @: t& \6 q' `" {( L
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory." D0 |% ~! k2 i# c2 z6 i& n; b' B, N
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
8 ^! H- l+ ` q• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.% s* e) B( i+ B/ w
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis." _3 Z- Y3 v& q! E" J8 V1 C
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 b' |9 h' i& u3 N* G• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 g3 N* u, M& C4 O- _• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! U6 A( Q2 ]0 l+ ^
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.4 G2 ?' S" F1 v& u
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.0 L- _. p" w6 R& _0 U1 h
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. x2 G' i- Y# `
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
# {& h0 n( I* s; l# b, e$ T$ w• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required./ j; f+ o# h) l7 {( E5 s, L0 v$ X$ }
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:+ q6 K4 T5 a) u4 J4 ?
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ! t1 D, r' G1 h+ a
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# J) b% P( v h9 W4 a• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
9 `8 P, _# ?2 f2 r# ~3 F4 \+ l• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 T, l/ r d s" n. p• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
; y8 f0 K- ~( L0 Q! E• Not scared of heights
, V3 H$ C" q6 P- a. v• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
* T* U* C# @5 B$ d x( l' u• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
