烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter 3 [9 Y0 _5 i' u
• 1 cup sugar
- a+ ~" c2 {# k* }- ~& F• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
, @$ [6 V+ G9 F/ Q• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.0 R& _' x1 ~( O. K& z# h/ w2 o6 H* S
% u+ _1 t1 R' D5 ?( b5 G这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
! ?) C6 ^0 u2 j/ Ubeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
