烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1 cup sugar
2 ]7 t j% H% {; h4 i& T& n• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
8 H9 v/ A& Q1 s2 M! S+ w$ u. d+ S2 Y• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
# t' J" `. \& _7 A( S• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
& w6 R/ k- ]& }+ K! I2 q% M' U' x• 4 eggs, well beaten

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.% T, q% M6 J4 [, r! W# h; H2 Q
/ l# u# g7 q$ K1 I' e" X! Q这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
