烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)$ e$ f3 y, w; z$ ` d3 f& }
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)$ h! K- a# F; B1 a. ?! Z
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
& _8 a6 A7 k% |6 P* xBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
" Z1 g L: J' j/ e( [Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 4 w# @/ K3 }1 b# }- Y3 @+ j1 S
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
