我查了这所学校的Program，涉及到Electricain的是Appretenceship Program,而且是学期4年的。

而我的情况是：我是学电力系统的，国内在电力系统从事专业工作10余年，有电力设计和一定的基建施工经验。希望尽快能够找到工作，（包括踏入Electrician行业，）开始养家糊口。

所以我想参加一期短期电工证培训，考个电工牌，最好在那里能够积累一些动手经验。有这样的培训班吗？

另外能够熟练应用 AotoCAD，要找Designer or Draftor，在爱城有机会吗？

我注意到 nait里还有一个Power Engineering Certificate - 4th Class，有没有对这个Program了解的朋友，对在电厂里找工作有帮助吗？

爱城有没有做电工的朋友，或者在电厂工作的朋友，以及和我有一样工作背景的朋友，希望大家能够相互沟通一下，共同前进。

在这里的电工属于trade ,如果你的经验和知识足够的话，你可以咨询如何直接考
journeyman，是这里对技术工人的职称。

对了，另外Power Engineering Certificate - 4th Class对以你的背景找工很有帮助，最高为class 1，很多公司职位都要求有这个Certification.

最后给你一个打气的信息，我知道的一个持有class 2的本地人，年收入超过100 grand。祝好运！

You got my idea. Indeed, your skill and experiences are good enough to directly work if your english are also influent. Note: Certificate is the most important document to show your technology. However, some company will test your real knowledge and practice. For example, please help me fix this electrical oven, and at least you need to find the problem what happend. If you can do that, this boss would like to hire you right away even you have no certification or formal trade. It is not a big deal. By the way, I know you have already view the Nait's website. I suggest that you'd better find the number and call them and tell them your situation, I think they will give you a satisfied answer. Four year's program is not fit you.

You also can view this website. www.norquest.ca Norquest college is a rather technology school. You can try it.

Thanks for the information and encouragement from you.

I want to find a short training course for the person who hopes to pass the exam for lisence of electricain and to get some work experience,apprenticeship or co-op opportunity in it ,unfortunatly I could not find it in the website of www.norquest.ca either.

这个学校我知道，曾经浏览过它的网页，而且不知为什么，我的邮箱三天两头收到它的广告垃圾邮件，郁闷ing...:mad:

据说多伦多这样的华人培训班很多，很有经验，既可以学习培训拿证，也有机会动手实践。我希望打听一下爱城有没有这样的针对性很强的培训班。

你也是想学电工吧，希望多交流

楼主你好 ;请问你的英文如何 .如果你的英文十分了的话 ,你可以到电话部黄页查抓到政府页面 .你在这可以抓到你以需要电工培训班及如何考取証书 .祝你好运 .

感谢诸位的关心和回复。

我有一段没来这个板块了，今天才发现又收到几位朋友的回复。

实言相告，我还没有找到适合的电工培训班。给　Norquest去了个e-mail,得到一个回复要询问我的专业背景，并被告知需要相关工作经历。可我从没干过电工！也只好如实相告，然而从此没有音讯。

那位朋友有此经验，欢迎交流。
