1. Base Layer - A base layer is an insulating layer worn2 _1 r ^+ C. C- l; e- z
next to your skin. Base layers help regulate your body% q7 F, S. N9 f! y0 s" [5 i
temperature by moving perspiration away from your' i3 _# T* |, M9 \
skin. This layer should fit snugly and retain some
: i' F, U( L& B1 Einsulating properties.+ B$ m8 b% `6 T% z2 r+ Q
2. Mid Layer - The purpose of the mid-layer is to" F6 _, E7 `; a" b" Q
capture warmth through trapped air. Typically a mid-layer
3 W s- y+ b. r! r" W. ois a fleece or a thick wool layer.
: x0 r/ D9 p: V! n% rWhen preparing for a trip to Snow Valley it is advised that students7 s5 D' F6 Q0 |! x
dress in layers.

- Knee High Ski Socks, plus a spare3 ^# S( I- p( f; N' p0 J& O+ `
3. Insulation Layer - An insulated and waterproof ski
# |/ d' j9 Y* p$ ~jacket and pants provide warmth and allow students. T( B, p7 h0 [- S3 Z: Y8 g
to stay dry.
