Our government recognizes that the Internet and digital technologies are

" b) ?$ d* k; J/ z) r- aCanada’s first comprehensive Digital Economy Strategy, we need to look
" }0 m4 T, s" H; @0 J7 bcarefully at how issues like UBB affect the big picture. We will be* \4 f8 d* k& E$ `3 ~
guided by our long-standing policies of encouraging competition and/ ?" ^# }( {& q1 o- K( J- q
investment, increasing consumer choice, minimizing regulation and allowing
! ]! z' c3 g k/ D' r$ Imarket forces to prevail.
