是否保留背单词？

最好是有双语的解释，或者干脆只要英文解释。
* S- Z' Y3 x/ {" b3 M0 ^+ c: r看中文解释，常常是误入歧途。
& B0 @( d# N" x8 ]' H2 @有时候发急了就想，如果当初我们在国内学英语一开始就用的都是英文解释（大学开始有英文解释），那会是怎么样？

单词和短句在一起，可能效果更好。尤其一些日常用语。

他说的道理不苟同，孩子与成人学习英语方法应该不同，不具有可比性，因为我们的大脑与他们已经不同。。。。

but how come a bigger brain with larger learning capacity can not learn a new language better than their child?

what I said has been scientifically evidenced. The rule of thumb is 12 years old as a threshold between possibility of forming a seperate language zone and impossibility.

网上的英英电子词典是否可行：比如：www.m-w.com很权威的美式英语，我有hardcopy,也买过电子版英英辞典。merriam-webster collegiate dictionary
