Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

3) Arch Bishop MacDonald

Strathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know. ' Z7 G) `$ Y. X! {0 q
$ I# ?( L: V( s( ^8 v" n) tAnyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)# f" j& M5 s7 z' Z* @# J! |

# u, z3 I9 G S2 eVic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...

Otherwise, I still consider Old Scona and Harry Ainlay some of the better schools around in terms of academics :)
