JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
- U: b5 b4 @/ e) V+ BSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
. S& J) ^# Z( W! pSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
$ J/ y' K5 t( ]4 Q+ R' ~of Course Pack production.7 Z! p. c4 {4 n+ ~) @( g
$ [4 E0 z L7 ^! F6 ]DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 p2 |' r. [) ~$ t3 K/ z1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning , s( D6 D9 T9 q- R- }
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.: C8 Z! S8 |3 x7 m) t( |) Q
$ ^" H2 B% p$ T5 N! C& _2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
* O1 Q R: S* i$ _( Vprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

* I5 a' G" _# {4 V3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of + f* a' q. x L: e( {% W s
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and 1 d% J" l* {! ?4 ]
keeping appropriate and accurate records.
% }! S$ H% z. ?/ ]2 s/ n/ J! H# }! v$ e. J) K3 n) N, N
4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment ( X D/ w/ R) i: ]0 ~3 V( e# g
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, - y+ K/ k: h) _' J
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

) X" S. q7 S' E L% {2 k; z6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
" }1 q z! C4 B. `' o1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
& \% v; a' ?- a! N2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

1 W5 M$ U K6 B3 |' k) T0 U: f3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.2 t& q% a. T0 c7 M4 S

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
