LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

* B" w6 a2 N1 s$ S  v: z0 Z/ nRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
6 S% Y) C# I2 `   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
1 ]: A$ X( c2 ~" y1 \7 _   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
8 ]3 Q, g  b. _8 n   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
0 R$ _$ S7 C% m4 K8 SSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
4 \+ `$ }" X. x$ A7 k! n• Excellent written and verbal skills
( v" O. s# w0 f0 j: Y  g7 d• Ability to work in a team environment
3 v$ a# H8 G! t( ?/ ~• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
! ]/ J; n; h7 j0 g  Y; p' W1 M• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
* }* k  ^7 k, p) E   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
& t! h# i1 v6 g7 D& d* x   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
4 x0 r& g; y  ~0 ?7 a   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

  h7 q5 {$ ?  u& C6 s" x+ z• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
- j" Z2 \( e0 q' P& w/ x; {7 N- L• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
, r' d% C6 B: }6 J• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

6 ^1 W* u! n  E• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
