6 r+ l, x# k  \; }Calgary police have now laid charges against an 18-year-old Calgary woman following the death of a little girl at a crosswalk in the city's northwest.
Police Sgt. Doug McIlwraith said Tuesday that Angela Ta has been charged with passing a motor vehicle stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk, failing to yield at a crosswalk, and careless driving.
; C8 S; T: B3 O& \4 P7 |McIlwraith says the charges could mean a licence suspension, a $2,000 fine or six months in jail.
0 H' t9 ]+ @6 x# [1 y: ]! w3 w$ ?0 mSix-year-old Jenna Chang and her mother, Ye Qiao, were struck Jan. 18 by a black BMW while using a marked crosswalk at 32 Avenue and 37 Street N.W.

这里故意杀人判的也比较轻啊， 何况她算过失杀人。西方法律普遍量刑轻
