EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.; N0 M) t# d9 N$ _. ^ T, O
! f- B2 L O ~9 BThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
