Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market.
) P$ F4 v! \% w( _, D, F: qImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. , s# i" l, u1 ]- B4 [7 R
6 P* i" Q8 J% j: CIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.
