 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth. L. B2 v. F6 H7 z' q- @, k
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
, X) J" Q6 ]$ P0 A6 ~0 D- H Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.8 Y! d" A$ L5 A
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
/ S3 K. a* _; Q$ h7 `: N; G L Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc." c$ ~1 t! K% s# f8 j
 Knowledge of community resources.5 `4 q" T" f0 t, Z- u
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.# u* f B$ A+ G" G3 o
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
& g- H, E `( z/ Q6 ?* rThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; # D& }0 _& E) W8 r" j3 K
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period. |
