Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

7 o6 ]+ e5 Z# RI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
2 Y9 R8 \  P8 T& A2 uOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
5 ^' F$ E3 |& S6 KAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
4 S+ s7 G: H* |! `7 p# x9 JMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
