Turn around mean shutdown.
& \) N2 D# }7 e7 r( U& K% pIt could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

+ G! g) J9 L4 wI think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

: {% A% }6 Z$ u0 d  mI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
* x' B. S9 T$ s' XOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
Another said:” maybe means shutdown.”
My foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
