some found jobs last year

I know somebody found job last year after they got their degree in Canada. Although there degree is not related with power system design, they have a strong backgound, working in the provincail electric power design company( Dian Li She Ji Yuan). You can check the websites of some engineering service companies, such as  Snc-Lavalin or Bantrel.

They are in the same field as me. I worked for power substation design when I was in China.0 k9 n) h: Z' s! i1 ~7 v1 H( G+ T

* Y& m0 \$ X1 ]3 j" }I am in ON now. It seems that the AB is developing quickly now and  I wonder if the person who has the electrical design background like me has the chance in Edmonton now. I hope to get more information about the design area, expecially in Electrical Design field in Edmonton.& Q9 o6 E- n% e4 c$ m4 `
) E4 M- Q6 w6 t
Do you know something more about that?+ x3 o: z& w  e; i, w: @# t* I

$ f7 m) c' Z7 U% y; h; b& a" ?8 mThey went to the school during IT booming period and wanted to find a IT job. When they graduated, the IT boom crashed and they went back to their previous field.  {5 S* o: a; j

% ?+ V8 h* m( @Are there Canadian degrees helpful for them when they were looking for jobs? ) ?  U( o' U2 y

% P2 @' D& I! t; T3 q6 u" o% h0 I* mMaybe yes, maybe no.# [" ]/ `. M# \
" `1 Q  ~% q0 B' P  B
Are their jobs they are working now any related to their Canadian degrees?& \* H( W) H$ @* l% |- _
- b3 O2 N: K0 f4 x) ?6 T* G) Q2 Y! d
Gernally speaking, they are all called as electrical engineering. But I think there are big difference.
