Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
- M/ Y* R' x+ t! M. e9 Y
3 t9 j8 V- E4 o2 pControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)
6 M/ x* O0 ?' L, s3 u! P
A "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

2 c; p/ \, W( p" q/ |# G4 z, E# nI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

I think so, i can see i have two keyboard inputs now, but the problem is that i can not shift to Chinese when i press Alt-Shift
