Dead car? Block heater and Synthetic Oil

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
: C' g- V8 e" B1 ?basically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant/radiator, and keep the engine block warm.
Either way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

" b& Y5 W# k% e- L! y9 R4 nIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
' X' E% d. ~# N1 r2 WA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 have a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

6 g. ~# m- `& X7 J0 _7 Q1 n+ Vif you have BH or SO, but ur car still could not be started up, and you have not checked/replaced your battary before the winter came, I bet the battary is dead.
