EDMONTON - A woman was killed Monday when the truck she was driving turned over and crushed her beneath its roof.9 m( P: ]& s0 S0 y* u" x
3 X# g) Z- y% Q% L2 | ~- E( OThe woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.& r# ]- U3 Z" ]0 T3 J1 k9 j2 ]/ P3 L

Audrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.! ^& x7 M" p* [4 M) j4 ~* E
Wiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.7 j: J" H+ a! N! M# @

It is not known what caused the woman to drive the truck off the road. Occupational health and safety and the RCMP are investigating.
