Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the

cleanliness and order in the bar.

" m8 F8 Y1 d- ^* ^ n1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
5 z6 z. F+ e# o6 }" dbar and debit floats.

7 @: e& j, z. F( U1 c3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 6 F$ O/ a! T5 Q
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
1 r- z# s Q' rattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
" w0 s& R6 E8 }6 c7 L mstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol ! z0 G4 u4 h% Z
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.+ p: S, C1 o% ^

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
& q+ _! j6 p! H9 Jmonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a % I& G( j% D. s* I5 D
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in , v& g' e2 w5 {1 A2 J5 Q+ J2 o

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume % r: I- w* u* z( Q* q
operation.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
& O" g N8 s/ v$ ^* b1 Q' i0 D5 qaccordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
