. r# ^+ C& ~' A3 B5 h8 cOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
' \5 F( q2 ~. \! b) rprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 8 h# x9 t3 w4 t Z, D
cleanliness and order in the bar. M6 Y& ?( b$ `" p# m h$ A

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:9 R& C6 r0 v8 d0 D
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

9 W6 t3 D7 a* N4 l, {2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the . F- ?' n4 j* F" ?) K( M
bar and debit floats.

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of 4 R% {( {1 `; @0 J' Q0 h G8 Y
each shift, and upon closing.! S# d+ s# ~* p5 ?" C( H! h6 ^$ q

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
. i5 n" o! C uattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
# K, P9 n8 E/ E t iseating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.0 l% u( q: H$ O- ?8 H. }! P

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
g4 \0 }' s) V7 t5 bstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol B, b+ b, @1 P' D
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

, p3 y6 G& v* Q+ z4 M0 B5 Y# F6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close % Y- F6 D! R: A4 T( V( ^
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a ; t' @( r, I# p# @
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
$ a8 g1 F' z: `7 H" I' n8 G; d. Laccordance with Students' Union policies.! P9 g" b U# W8 A$ Y; C( Q
5 n5 T! `3 E2 y/ @* L7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a / E+ l6 C6 R% l0 \
high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

9) Other job related duties as required by the Operations Manager,

QUALIFICATIONS:
# B7 _1 v2 O. _3 C, M1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
, g' _* N5 ] ?( K6 f1 ~+ zoperation.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
; W- L, s/ C3 Qaccordance with Students' Union policy.3 @# [1 ~9 m8 a4 X" q

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
