Essential Responsibilities:
1 z% M# T8 L- d$ {7 ]" o; E
; W% y, o# S+ N& ?7 [2 FPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
" U+ o0 ~# g, y5 d4 S" HConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.: S0 ?. w* @5 u; P" O! u
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
: K5 `" n6 {% J. a; W% k X9 iCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
0 K0 x8 P5 N9 S2 c* d$ cInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
7 Z8 G9 s2 x: N% GContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
& H# e# _, S8 v' DManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
& S+ v' y0 c; p gLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
4 a- j; n9 e% F5 f% sCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences2 A) X' \( n: {1 M7 x! L
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
. e# }2 N Y, y2 u0 S9 h( V# n2 _+ FWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
* h& Q* o d1 M! d x2 i. P! u1 xEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
6 Z" M3 F5 u4 u1 TExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
: l* x& @' ~3 u' w& H7 q8 kParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
6 d( ~" d( n( g1 q8 H; bWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing1 }0 J9 K2 t. _/ [6 ~$ J
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure
) @9 |% Z1 V) D/ r1 P) ^Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

7 Z6 T a3 f) Y( P) I! {4 rBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College6 g- S: Q: F7 i2 G$ p/ F- ?
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
5 P, w8 O% a+ O: Y+ j0 e3 R* DAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
. h( ]! Q/ `6 r! ~8 Y. u8 _Experience interpreting process control documents.! n0 P a! H* e- ?8 k
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
. P" t: a6 A, d0 tProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
. b3 l" t. V% `( _/ v7 u, Z3 rKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies& U- `* b, B6 A
Valid passport and driver's license.

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.& J ~5 E( q5 P* [8 B# C" h
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)( i3 `/ h8 ^ q
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment! e9 w- i- W+ a4 `
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
9 L) O7 M) h& T& \. B: {Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
