The U-Pass will give students unlimited travel on public transit in Edmonton, Saint Albert and Strathcona County.

z; l8 t Q5 `, A4 v cGetting to this point took five years of debate and negotiations, said U of A student union president Samantha Power on Friday.

; O( O% e% }3 S+ D1 j7 A"We really needed to make sure that it was affordable for students because it's mandatory. We didn't want students who don't use transit as often to be put at a disadvantage, so at $75 for four months, it's about one round trip a week."
