: \5 p0 o9 E. _ We live in Magrath Heights and we are currently struggling with our 5-year-old daughter's to Kindergarten registration. I wonder if there are parents in Magrath, MacTaggart area who are struggling with this issue as well. I wish to explore possibilities to group up and help each other out on making our lives easier with the half-day kindergarten program.

" {. f" \* F" J8 x% \& r We need to make up our mind as to which school to register to since one kid can only send in ONE registration at a time, and it can be really hard to switch school in the middle of the year. Currently there are two options for my daughter:

$ H/ i3 R& ^4 pOption 1: Regular program - a new school - Nellie Carlson(http://www.epsb.ca/schools/newsc ... ions/nelliecarlson/) is under construction and scheduled to open September 2016; boundaries not finalized yet. . }% a2 T+ J9 F' |. B) t3 v( d1 W
No on site child care available. 3 ^5 K8 l8 W7 U0 H. L8 J

IF we fall under the final boundary, what to do with the afternoons? My husband and I both work full-time 30 minutes drive from home. I maybe able to take one afternoon off in a week, part-time is not likely an option.

- O2 W0 d+ ~: ^5 E: J8 F5 yOption 2: Mandarin Bilingual program - Parkallen School where there is a YMCA KinderCare close by, $755 a month, AND there is a wait list.* c8 L2 G( M) L# N7 e+ Q3 ]0 e
Honestly, I wish to send my daughter to the Mandarin Bilingual school, but again, there is the afternoon issue, YMCA is not guaranteed and expensive. I wonder if there are other parents considering this school and we could come up with a program to support each other and incorporate with Chinese elements.
