昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor
' Y7 j4 e3 F: o! }* c$ b0 [! w/ q4 o0 zmark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.9 N) F+ U+ @3 Q
$ r* ?" O* Q9 M# f: D7 p% W
The increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
! Y8 o- ]: ]! r- a0 Hproducts from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’
5 D+ d& C4 J2 a1 m0 wgates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
9 E2 Y# a6 P7 X* h4 G% ~litre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature A2 V+ {: b# {, ^. C
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that$ q4 h( G: I9 I9 g: V3 g- C
are among the lowest in the country.

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:* a! o# e% x. K2 i6 \) f! W
· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.
+ A8 [) @8 a/ H3 V2 t& B· Spirits: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
