经济低迷, Alberta政府增加酒税

昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

$ l6 f3 T3 H6 X3 sOn March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor
$ `# f( I4 s1 d: i) P: smark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.

1 r, X) _: j4 j% u" uThe increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
3 }& D3 ~7 u% B0 N( O0 U9 }$ `products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’
# i; i; d6 a6 L2 L  p) Kgates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
# X7 k: z7 Z: g, Alitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that
7 k3 j' C9 F' d0 Y7 P5 S' Kare among the lowest in the country.

· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.

" R# x: \5 h& O0 L· Wine: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
