Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market. 3 a3 m0 H/ o% h
Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. 8 D0 k- U6 T. [* h6 J
' [2 T+ G( k+ z# lIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

The program was announced by a group called Changing Together… A Centre for Immigrant Women.
