Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents.

j @( R: P7 y5 D& AIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board. 0 T( C7 o' p& A, G
