买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:0 W3 N$ ]" B  ?. {/ D6 c" c6 ~6 P
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
" t6 W2 i# T* c0 v: b5 G•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
8 Y0 q6 k% c, _/ Q) k7 FSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。! S" |0 j% x$ O  n7 U4 E( l

A qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.1 |, `& Q% a. i0 ~+ l% G

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. * B- v6 F+ N" ]& }! q* {: q! ~' I

4 t2 X% f# c  X5 h# t( S4 cThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

% V9 N5 h1 ^& _( TWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
