买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

, y9 d3 A9 Q- L6 q. }& tYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
: a- J2 G* J3 }•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
- m4 q: g$ [* Z' I7 x•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).% u" P- W: K8 P+ ~5 M. u. E
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.7 |( _( N# m2 A' |  w: ~
