The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

8. To maintain a public register of its members.

10. To determine whether a trade should have compulsory certification status.

11. To receive and investigate complaints against members of the College and to deal with issues of discipline, misconduct, incompetency and incapacity.* s, w% q& M) n
