1. It's cool.
# `% ^4 c8 v) ~( `$ P1 ^. U/ H4 r7 w% V) Q6 @; l' X
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard. 所以可以说: # N4 t/ j) R: U# p# G
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
/ F3 ?5 q+ d7 t  s* K3 `    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
( D3 b) h$ N3 J9 t1 y, j- I  l
1 @# K6 W5 ?- F" J3 J主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
  I; U& i" Z: H/ h; _5 x, `$ Z    She (He) was cool in the past.
3 Z& o5 `3 g* r* D5 ~1 i    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) 4 {$ F5 {* C8 x8 J
    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) 4 W/ O" E$ f- ]

( z/ ~3 ?7 A  m  R- N但是如果说:Are you cool?
5 ^& \+ q% `. b: N  J  k; Q  @    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not 4 m3 K. A* W( [; A0 J4 h
    emotional. : _3 k' G2 R* [
    (注:许多华人把 cool 译成「很酷」) 0 l% E3 l# k: f2 U+ u

2 L1 b& g& _' _/ d: J2. Are you trippin'?
: Z+ \3 @$ w2 e
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
# u. O+ {" S3 }3 r: j" z    They are trippin'. (= tripping) . q/ t5 z: O6 {2 x$ {+ {+ q
    She (he) is trippin'. 3 [7 T8 s' E8 s: x/ C6 g  o
Mr. A must be trippin'.
7 |9 s- y% n( n1 m: `) c/ Y& `( V2 E
  O1 j7 V1 e; T0 c
3. He is a nerd: T( J; v4 i. S* ?% G
0 w" b8 g  \4 d( y( d4 e
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
He used to be a nerd in high school
8 k# g* R2 Y' x0 A7 p8 O2 R5 j! ^& D, j- q% v
4. Yo baby
- X# D, [' `8 R, g: U$ Z
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: ; P# |4 W. l( B
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
诸如:$ F7 R9 k0 J7 o1 a. H
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
" X- V! l+ k) ~0 Y- s2 k3 Z    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
# t- D* ~7 _, v+ T5 c- Q2 m& r' l( I1 p0 c
5. She is a ho
' D1 q( d4 U' U
5 b% z. t) L# x' \' P8 A$ Q3 L' ]1 Aho (a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
    They are (were) hos. , H- @! L* P2 i1 h, x- c, ?# h
There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
1 Z" a% z& c; s! {6 B3 s- x* E
- j% \2 X, q1 V9 e6. Catch you later!! u7 @, ~+ y+ H0 s$ K

/ s! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
4 X/ |' z3 k) [4 L- k# H$ u有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. 意思就是:I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
! _$ {' Z! ]; T3 A(我要走了,再谈吧!)
