" R2 H) B) J( m1 r1 r( ?- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
1 X$ G" L9 H, ?3 _0 A- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.$ j* ~4 Z8 p8 w- l( @; I2 n$ |& o: R
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
, }/ z! _: r* N7 X/ `- provide support to ISP staff* x4 {# j' L6 \
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
) \4 ]1 ] x3 a7 E" T- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities( B( a4 S$ q) T" R4 Y- H5 K. o
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated, l, j5 N& K/ U6 D: {
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants3 P+ z& m2 E$ h9 c; @6 v3 J1 P
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
, C+ a6 _8 n' }. w3 g& O- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
* @3 G% C9 k8 l6 O5 b2 l/ W* z- N- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.( r' i# H6 o5 v' E
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications
! ~% P) n/ {$ t9 @* R- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
, j# V5 K6 w6 q9 t A5 ~8 M- a- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available! a' e1 U) Z( @. d9 p6 Y: R$ t
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers+ O7 t& G, k& E6 V, Z- j% P
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software8 V. L9 `- r. M$ ]
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)7 _$ n- m8 N7 L. Y; g) h
- good interpersonal and people skills

- valid driver’s license
