! p0 J+ r2 v0 q6 l+ b. h- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
) {+ J2 r4 f# v# N' ^- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.3 s$ Y& A; ]6 N: y' y. C, Q0 |
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
( @ f# m! R d: C4 P; |% s- provide support to ISP staff. Z5 ?; o' Z/ M. n* U4 T
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
3 |# f4 Y+ L+ ]& W8 o) h- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities3 Z' F+ {0 d4 \3 x' {
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
0 v2 J+ O- ^: |5 J% B P! J& w$ ^2 \- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
6 p; m1 Z/ q5 {# p* y: R$ W; x- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
/ @. @- j% z9 q9 g x1 o0 f/ p- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder; i" n9 p7 K* J* T7 J
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.) o) G5 Y# A" j+ [9 @# O$ F$ d' U
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities' a2 W5 X+ G/ H; X
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications
0 D- s! \- `1 t* m7 e* l- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
0 T9 q+ N9 e, W% K) O- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available" Z! M/ N. H8 S& P6 ]1 P
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers1 j0 A8 M0 ?7 s1 G. M1 J
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
0 d! n; a* C9 y. j- L- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
1 y: }. |3 ` Z! m" P* u' F6 W# c. y- good interpersonal and people skills
' X5 N# C; q+ h1 I2 i- good organizational and coordination skills
