 Continuously interact with all clients in the Resource Area to ensure that their job search requirements are being met.

 Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.

 Promote Bredin Institute’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives.

 Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan.
4 U2 p, L: G5 i7 g6 L' A- I Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.
2 ^( k8 ]7 K* \# a Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.

 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment./ x3 m, H! ^( E5 Y. M
 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.8 d1 @4 G8 C- Q- w5 n: r( ?% L3 v
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.

 Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment

 Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants
