Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ t% N! U) D8 T, z3 g
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required$ H. u6 V! x, l$ H$ Q' Q
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications
) H2 x) O0 i# e0 F! JDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred' D+ i$ Y; J) e u6 y6 o
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
7 i4 Z% R3 H& c6 t! |9 ?Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
" y2 j$ i- Y+ l- v: U5 lKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
' s( _" i9 b& I6 WFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit6 j* M0 u/ l$ |& {
