; t2 h4 k; Q( {3 }3 ]) \1 K6 e5 AAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
2 P: Y  v7 E% {! e* PProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
3 n6 j- ?$ [* U$ bPerforms related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
8 `: r& S+ h5 p* a4 f- tDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
8 B& p0 ]% Z# U5 uSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
' S: E$ Q8 C( R/ T4 xFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
