Is your community aware of Alberta Arts Days activities taking place from Sept. 17-19?

In particular…..
The Royal Alberta Museum is featuring several special events and programs Sept. 17-19 and offering FREE ADMISSION.
You could:
• Interact with talented local artists while they create works of art in a variety of mediums in Wild Alberta, the Natural History Gallery and the Syncrude Gallery of Aboriginal Culture
• Join a costumed interpreter in Wild Alberta who'll introduce you to aspects of forest management (presentations happen throughout the day).
• Join local historian, Katherine Milliken, for special guided tours (approx. 30 minutes) of the artworks found in and around the Museum
• Take free tours of historic Government House (on the Museum grounds)

Also along with Alberta Arts Days...

The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues celebrates Community League Day on Sept. 18 with a kickoff event in Churchill Square.
Go to their website at http://www.efcl.org/ and click on the green bubbles to see what Free activities will be at the community leagues in all parts of the city.
