Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

2 v7 c1 p) O* B- q; Z. y, u7 `- Organize focus group(s)
2 n  X6 A! W; U5 k$ P! N* i$ U- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
! i! t6 P- Z8 z' @% ~- Provide orientation for parents
' q& M/ v  W; \; h& P7 Q- Find sponsors to enhance program
6 l) E$ {5 z+ v" E4 x! R: _- Supervise volunteer(s)
. Z; i* T9 K5 J8 v) B& j, Z- Prepare final report for funding agency
: c" ]& h3 N8 A* P9 y! X6 f' d
Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
; {8 `/ v3 R, N8 ^% P" R5 k/ Q- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 c/ v3 E. T, G" _# \- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
. b. W: F  n/ \/ G. d6 ~2 g$ Z  R+ w* k- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
+ e+ {& O1 T7 S- [7 z- J1 ]5 I- leadership abilities

Salary
