Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

. t9 s, M& J: ]( Z, u: W. n9 SMajor Responsibilities: ! p. p# c$ h) q
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 M) k4 d& U! u# M, Y& Q h8 s4 I• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% F* L, K2 D4 @' Y• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
9 c( X$ a9 z H2 ~9 a3 j• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( g! t1 V# z- j: [; J3 B+ t! r
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.6 g ~+ I! d; z( O1 v% R* k, D) X
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 F7 ~/ I4 c0 C4 D( {' Q" i
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
t- V6 f- Z4 y7 a6 _" j3 I* `• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 C5 R* @* s3 i5 J4 L6 w+ A
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% _3 k' u' s4 y; h. W7 \# ?; E! E• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
+ Z+ ?! v2 Z4 l6 Q' Z- ? A9 }• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

1 P* [; l6 g- _7 U& l• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
$ ~) s& W0 j# k4 |• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + p: S3 I* V. ?* ?, s2 W
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) s" K5 d4 ^2 M- r" j
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
H+ P F9 A) A- X8 ?• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
) e/ M2 I7 j! Y$ w( `2 r: Z• Not scared of heights# I5 u+ E2 N: f0 U4 w
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- u z; g! k/ \* u8 c5 o! m• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & y) S" `3 |4 W, l
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
