Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant+ G$ w! G2 e1 ^) e* [# a/ f1 p

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 8 S7 E8 ]0 C* G9 p/ y7 O
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
8 N+ H+ k/ i' \1 d• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 I2 `: z4 s/ l4 q8 R; [• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ! i$ \& Q, [9 N* c. h
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 R3 y* M3 c) n1 i
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
/ v( N( h' Z6 M% u% D• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 D0 \& ?2 d% {; ~
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ B8 z4 T6 G! ~ r$ B& L
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& {, a9 @: T& s! t: @* `8 V1 _
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.4 ]/ [9 }. O- ^0 @% }
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
! m) v) M, j+ Z2 v• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ F ]+ `0 x# Z- R: u
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

1 U0 k7 {% O. L& l0 ~4 o8 R• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 @4 M. M9 h: e- }7 ?9 W- g: w1 o
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
! I9 z- Y8 @3 B( K- l• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. - |. O& C& e) ]
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. / l$ u" g" X7 F4 z, ^* C0 D
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

8 U4 X6 D7 P5 y( f$ v; Q% Q. `• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
