8 r1 t( e  \8 e/ F) D( \Major Responsibilities:
. B! _- l$ g; C) a; z•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ D" p* j, v3 v5 x+ H9 M0 n& h8 @•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
8 l/ Z; U: n- L•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  . X' M* x" u2 J% r3 O7 b% Z
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.* M- h9 d! ?/ J3 U9 L- f
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# a( m* H3 R! d3 t' d; w
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.  `) W! a5 n/ `0 r/ u
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.3 s* f. Z1 y/ e+ i
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
; l4 {4 E; h/ Q; E8 v: A8 L•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: s% G; Q3 s# U
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
8 w+ n/ v/ k  ^•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. . e5 S0 B. k; E6 f( r
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 0 t0 D7 O$ f" {& k/ P+ d
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
