Wow. In edmonton, if we're talking about academics, then it is definitely going to be in the following order

2) Harry Ainlay0 Q/ a. D4 }& _6 R7 K9 N; M
3) Arch Bishop MacDonald' k) z* W; W/ {, @5 j7 K( p
* M" D6 o& h' xStrathcona is more known for being a "jock" school - in other words, very athletic. It was also more populated with caucasians... I don't know if that's changed in the last 4/5 years... maybe there are more asians there now? Don't know.

3 c: q: s' N, e8 k& C0 `Anyways, besides Strathcona being well known for sports, I have never really heard of it being well known for other attributes... Yes there is an AP program, but as far as I know, IB (as offered by Harry Ainlay) is still more renowned. Also... Harry Ainlay has a french immersion program. :)

# z) v4 g6 o0 D$ p4 D0 Q$ E3 JVic Comp used to be attractive for "artsy students", but now, the new Lillian Osbourne has taken its ranks for being an artsy school...7 \* _2 c$ a8 v

Otherwise, I still consider Old Scona and Harry Ainlay some of the better schools around in terms of academics :)
