1984: Triple Five Corporation, developer of West Edmonton Mall, buys property from Woodward's and spends $25 million on renovations.3 n9 l' y3 S! e
4 M* D6 p }, J# ?9 v. H( j6 }2000: New owner Dundee Developments spends $30 million on facelift. Safeway moves to the mall's south end, and Zellers enlarges its store. 2003: Sandalwood Management buys mall and starts adding stand-alone stores on "pad locations."8 L( d8 Y2 _9 g" K" _

MARCH 15, 2007: First Capital Realty Inc. pays $70 million for Westmount Shopping Centre and plans to demolish part of the shopping centre between Zellers and Shoppers Drug Mart and build a $21-million Home Depot.
