EDMONTON — Nearly 2,300 violations were issued over a one day traffic blitz across Edmonton last week.

' [$ V( g$ ?! j. i# aNineteen hundred of the 2,295 total violations were a result of speeding. The rest of the tickets (373) were doled out for seatbelt infractions, impaired driving, distracted driving, and red light violations.
