When an employer terminates employment

) w5 @* O5 L. M" G& i$ c' H9 r" r; yAn employer must give an employee whose employment is being terminated written termination
/ X0 ~& f5 c% u3 K# T( \; inotice of at least:
& g3 E; F3 q$ J* e& G& v
! `* v c, F' p- _• one week for employment of more than 3 months, but less than 2 years;* B6 y* s0 B+ M/ X5 M; n: t
• two weeks for employment of 2 years or more, but less than 4 years;
& n. w% ~8 @2 o• four weeks for employment of 4 years or more, but less than 6 years;
6 d) A" l# w/ n0 ]( i, N• five weeks for employment of 6 years or more, but less than 8 years;
$ v$ I) N6 @% ]! p6 d( y• six weeks for employment of 8 years or more, but less than 10 years; and
* k' U: a4 H, g• eight weeks for employment of 10 years or more.
