请教：BC省的5级驾照到了Edmonton能直接换吗？还用考试吗？

Yes, you can. but you will get a 5 lower license which means that you can not company with a person who has a 7 class license. if you want to get a 5 higher one, you must pass a test and give in your Chinese license at the seem time.

No, because 5 class in BC means 5 advance in AB.
So, LZ can change your driver license into 5 class in Alberta.

we just changed one a month ago, only 5 lower license. it was true.

这个问题我有发言权，两个月前，我刚换过。事情是这样的，我的5级BC驾照，被换成了5级GDL驾照，就是楼上所说的5 lower license。但是我可是有好些年驾照的人啊，所以就去跟他们扯皮了。他们的理由是，我在BC的5级本不够两年，因为到Vancouver不足两年，所以只能换5 GDL本。我说我在别的省的驾照都有好几年了，他们要我出示证明，或者是大电话到以前的省要他们证明我的5级本超过两年，或是其他什么东西能证明这一点。恰好我有以前省的过期驾照，因此就换回了5级本。因此，如果你的BC5级本超过两年，毫无问题能换AB5级本。

我当时来时BC的初级牌是7级，相当于AB的5级GDL，两年后经过考试拿5级牌，现在变了吗？

再请问一下：如果不换，BC的驾照在Edmonton能用多久呢？
