We have few machines from china and used here in Canada after some modifications done. I believe most appliances in China can be used here too in Canada if you check the followings:

1. check the neutral wire to see if it is bonded to appliance frame or metal part by using mega meter or check the internal wiring.

Normal the neutral wire to the appliance used in China is not connected the ground or bonded to the metal frame. anyway have to check out.8 y+ f) p; v0 m ?: o5 |
2 A2 H6 W8 J$ S) }5 P2. Check the full load A for the size of the wire used, it may need to change out the wire and replace plug.

[% U* P1 Z) y" E# Y3 Voltage in China is 220V. Here is two phase supposed of 240V (most time less than 230V). Less than 10% is not a big issue. but still have to check out the size and insulation of the wire.: W1 w; r% a9 t0 T' O V
* {, q( q$ O' L* K5 X. e4.Frequency in china is 50Hz and here is 60Hz, if there is a motor inside, the efficiency is not so great any more and could be overheated. Normally it is ok if it has proper over load protection device. |
