想問問大家對Ambleside South的看法
聽說那邊附近要蓋學校還有一塊預留的commercial site...這樣好嗎
Windernere其他的區域好點的地賣得好快不然就是價位驚人
想問問意見謝謝

Fire station will be build in the Ambleside, not in the Ambleside south.

听说要建学校是天主教学校，以爱城这几年新区的发展状况，咱们中国人的孩子基本上甭指望上天主教学校。。。。。

-左上是木林
-builder說右上方是公立學校ㄝ Kindergarten to Grade 9 school will be built in Windermere (in Ambleside, approx. 170 Street and 5 Avenue SW),
-火警站 (A Public Utility site for a future Edmonton Fire Station is located north of the existing Ellerslie Road Government Road Allowance (9th Avenue S.W.) and east of Allan Drive.)

不確地具體位置但是形容上火警站是不是有點靠近Ambleside South 呢 ...

I have called the City Planning department. The public K9 school will be buit on Allan Drive not 170 Street and 5 Avenue SW.

第一批豪宅是７０年代造的．第二批是０４／０５年造的．当然，现在还在缓缓的造．

消防站边的房子也不是绝对不能碰，我之前在网上研究过，大部分消防站边的人表示听不到或者完全会忽略掉警笛，原因不外是救火车一般只在交通繁忙的路上拉警笛，出入消防站的时候反而不会。另有些人更喜欢消防站做邻居，一方面觉得安全，另一方面房子保险会便宜（我没求证过），总之在网上看，大部分住在消防站边的老外都觉得没什么。
但是：没住过的人如我还是会有疑虑，所以resale或者出租可能会有影响。

开车10来分钟不近了。花了一大笔钱，小孩上学不能直接走过去，还得开车过去，教会学校一是不太喜欢，二也不能保证上学，所以觉得有些遗憾。

房子造的豪不豪是与学校没直接联系。但有个好学校对整个小区及房子有锦上添花的作用，尤其对国人而言。所以觉得可惜了点。hehe.

问题是该小区的出入路，现在只有一条。以前还真没见到这样的小区，走进小区，有一种不舒畅，窒息的感觉。

如旁边盖了Save on food之类的商店，也许也会有一条从小区到Allan Dr 的小路。

不喜歡房子密度高，街道狹窄之小區，街上一般泊滿汽車，冬天尤為麻煩。

那邊只有一條小路通外或許只有住戶會出入?
如果旁邊蓋grocery store 或許會通那plaza 但是或許也不會?
就怕那commercial site 和 fire station (38xx allan drive)是不是太近了呢
那天打電話問了 fire station是買了那塊地但是目前沒有經費蓋....

要是我是LZ，就不要在ambleside south 纠结了。到隔壁的glenridding height or glenridding。有大把的选择，离将建的学校也很近。小区标准跟ambleside south区别不大。
