+ V* ^6 [ J8 e N3 X, z(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
" H2 n7 e/ ^) X6 W/ Oattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of $ r( X0 Z) ~8 `9 \
information that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, # w% q3 ?& `3 X4 D6 z

be found south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of HUB.

. e/ o9 j) c) c, |2 e/ Z- ?6 pBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 0 O" X) P5 x" [# t! ?
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
) C7 C9 W' q t8 ~+ _; E% y# Wa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 1 R' M" b7 P ]' p3 I2 }. g
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in * q6 Y3 C1 x( {7 Y! l5 R

7 R: E( f2 Z8 IYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
6 ?/ C( y7 R7 w6 N4 E, lSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 n% w% v( g8 y' p8 T% ^! g
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.: G' s+ t( V, p4 c5 o: g

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 5 X0 q: J" |8 s& w( V/ q: J5 {1 s
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
( r: u) W+ W, H, ?" Pyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
8 m' \$ |9 x2 ]) `ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) @- l5 ]" Q+ p/ C- _your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 5 O- M, _: e+ D4 O
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 5 f- b; v( s! L: f9 o& ]# b
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
) T; L( |+ {7 E' _, c U/ P( ~Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 7 s# K5 N6 C8 p D! Q9 ]4 o
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the , N6 G# z- `$ l; U9 T8 h- J9 K
two days of Orientation).& O) P$ y8 a' \3 e) q9 v
