(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
/ P# w: \, j A! u0 t8 w- }attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 1 l; M! ]' e( j7 N$ o5 e( I5 d& e# R
information that will make your transition to the University community * _" L- ?1 m8 O5 I+ j( x& C( @, e

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 4 h: z: Z; y4 r
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening - {4 u$ u. {3 I* r+ i
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
' S/ L2 } `- \* K! F. ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 7 Y' _5 ~2 ]" _5 W4 M
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

. K. P4 C6 h4 }- k3 V$ X1 AYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ' \2 [" _9 w) ?0 T' @1 @
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you + A' F4 C9 t" [6 k- B# C
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
7 h% f b. e) Y1 |- I2 [. K3 Jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your + h* Q- j( d6 M) @7 i5 D. i
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
, A8 G/ P+ E- o1 c% e% d& lyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece - M. N; i5 v h+ }' g/ \: ^4 `/ W7 x
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
( b9 H3 }. x' p7 c# V& z) NComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 4 j: v# }% a- B X! X2 i* P
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
% A, V( W$ [! n& D0 Rbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the + s6 g; R, f' o
two days of Orientation).0 q0 E$ ]" v; K6 ~0 E8 @/ Z; `7 K
