The shooter has been identified as Ryan Lanza from Hoboken, New Jersey. The shooter's mother was a kindergarten teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School and was found shot dead inside the school.

It's believed that the shooter killed one of his parents in New Jersey before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.. k" v& N' `. h) \
