- g$ o* S5 q: ~7 E4 \Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:( k' r3 w8 C7 X
1) Any bodily injury or death;* [: ]: @1 G6 u9 |1 r
2) A Hit-and-Run;1 t+ R1 L: Z* T2 R+ Y$ z7 {3 I, t) A
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;* F0 s' \9 l* e' { f7 z
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;3 p- Z/ @2 A7 i7 L: M
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
