What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
6 C: ^& ^- k6 vEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:" Y& O" t# V1 g$ {) s" ~0 r/ Q& j
1) Any bodily injury or death;
" I j. k$ R1 P m* s2 b; Y2) A Hit-and-Run;( s$ ?& p- Q" E! U% r
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;

5) An out-of-province vehicle.

' }& I* W0 d) [' N- mNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
